Professional Audio & Television (PAT) has delivered more than 130 PROTON in-car camera systems to NEP Australia, supporting one of the country’s leading outside broadcast providers as they push live motorsport coverage to new heights for the 2026 V8 Supercars Championship.
NEP Australia—the official media services and technical production partner for the Repco Supercars Championship—has deployed a combination of PROTON PCI, PROTON RAIN, and PROTON HFR cameras to capture dynamic, trackside and in-car vision that immerses fans directly into the cockpit. These systems deliver a raw, visceral viewing experience—bringing audiences so close to the action they can almost smell the burnt rubber and gasoline.
This significant rollout underscores NEP Australia’s commitment to continuous innovation in sports broadcasting. By integrating the latest PROTON camera technology, NEP is once again elevating how viewers experience one of the nation’s most iconic motorsport categories.
